Play

An album a day. Play picks one album every day from New Music, a running feed of album recommendations from trusted music writers and tastemakers. It shows the cover, who recommended it and why, with links to Spotify and Apple Music.

Log in with Spotify to play the album and control playback: play and pause, skip, seek, mute, choose the speaker, save tracks and albums to your library. It works on iPhone, iPad and desktop, upright or sideways.

Play needs JavaScript to pick today’s album.
