> Experiments in design, code and sound by Vincent Venema, a freelance creative director based in Amsterdam and Geneva. Small browser-based pieces shaped by a love of art, music, and everyday randomness.

Vincent Venema works across brand identity, visual language and digital craft. vincent.works is where his self-initiated work lives: generative tools, audio-reactive visuals and typographic experiments, each a standalone web page. Client work is at [vincentvenema.com](https://vincentvenema.com).

## Experiments

- [Ey Ey! Ey Ey!](https://vincent.works/ey/): A fun tribute to Bad Bunny's signature 'EY!'. Kinetic typography built from all 51 'ey' ad-libs Bad Bunny said during the Super Bowl LX halftime show in 2026. Each one is set in GT Flexa, every letter a different width and weight.
- [Chladni Generator](https://vincent.works/chladni/): A Chladni pattern simulator. 20,000 particles settle into the nodal lines of a vibrating plate.
- [Harbeth Speaker Base](https://vincent.works/harbeth/): A to-scale, interactive drawing of a spiked base that tilts a Harbeth P3ESR XD speaker back. Turn it 360°, explode it into its parts, work out the tilt that aims the tweeter at a seated listener's ears, and download CNC cut files (DXF and SVG).
- [Watt Matters](https://vincent.works/watt/): Generative particle typography. Alan Watts quotes dissolve and reform as a fluid field of particles, with controls for movement and colour, and image export.
- [Sky Colour](https://vincent.works/sky/): An atmospheric colour study in WebGL. A fluid chromatic form swells, ripples and dissolves with movement and sound.
- [Het Algoritme](https://vincent.works/hetalgoritme/): A kinetic lyric visualiser for the Dutch band Het Algoritme, the duo of Koen van de Wardt (Klangstof) and Deniz Wittebol (Freez). The lyrics of 'Opscheer' and 'Huilend In Een Taxi' appear word by word, in sync with the music. In Dutch.
- [Poster Builder](https://vincent.works/poster/): A generative poster tool. Ten seeded layout styles, modular grids, big type, colour palettes, social formats and PNG export. Runs entirely in the browser.
- [David Lynch Tribute](https://vincent.works/davidlynch/): A tribute to David Lynch (1946-2025) in his own words: quotes, filmography, music, books and interviews.
- [Earworm Machine](https://vincent.works/earworm/): A random earworm player. Press New Worm and get one of the world's most contagious tunes stuck in your head.

## Collections

- [New Music](https://vincent.works/newmusic/): A running feed of new album recommendations, gathered from a handful of trusted music writers and tastemakers. Updated automatically.
- [Podcasts](https://vincent.works/podcasts/): Marvin's Picks: an archive of the weekly narrative podcast recommendations by Marvin Jacobs, Creative Director Audio at Mediahuis NRC. In Dutch. Machine-readable data: [podcasts.json](https://vincent.works/podcasts/podcasts.json).
- [Cooking](https://vincent.works/cooking/): Recipes in big, simple type for the kitchen, built for iPad. Swipe through dishes, tick off ingredients, follow full-screen steps and start timers from the instructions. In English, French and Dutch.
